I worked long and hard to learn the weave called roundmaille. It is a hard weave to get started. On the other hand the Byzantine is much easier and has really become one of my favorite weaves to work on. Now, I know you all like paper crafts but I had to share these with you too. What do you think? Did I do an okay job on my first roundmaille?

Wow, I think your roundmaille weave is beautiful. Looks like it would take a lot of time and patience! Great job!
Thanks for your comment! I do not have Photoshop...I literally just scanned my siggy and cropped it down. It's about as hi tech as i get! LOL And i love the jewelry...it rocks!
The hardest part of chaining is the first 10 minutes of each new weave or piece. That roundmaille had to be set downand walked away from more than once. LOL! Thanks for commenting. My CM posts don't usually get any traffic.
Girl...thanks for the siggy! I have added you to my sites I spend time on. YOU ROCK!
Wow, those look so cool! Believe me, I like all crafts(especially yours!!).
This is amazing!! Looks hard, great job
Yes, you did an awesome job! Very cool!
Wow! You did an awesome job! You are overflowing with creativeness :)
You are so talented!
Ooh! That Byzantine is cool!
I love your blog. I'd love to learn chain mail weaves too.
Looks great, I have no patience for such things. ;)
First - thanks for being the very first person to comment on my new blog!
Second - I love the chain weave! How long do you think it took to do the bracelet?
Well, I walked away from it a few times when I was trying to get it started but I think total time of actually working on it was probably 45 minutes. That's with pre-opened rings. Thats a long time to work on something so small.
The black rings are neoprene so they stretch. :) It's kinda cool actually. Thanks everyone for commenting!!! I hope you all got your names in the drawing. :)
That is beautiful. just gorgeous! Looked like it lots of time went into it. You're very talented.
Way, way, way cool!!!!
That's beautiful and it looks hard. Good job!
Just beautiful! I've never tried making jewelry but this turned out great -- I know it must have taken a looooooonnnnnggggg time -- and the result was well worth it!
Is there no end to your talent...beautiful work and I love your blog makeover!
That is a very pretty bracelet!
Ooooooo...that's sooooo pretty!! BEAUTIFUL! Good job!! :)

I don't know anything about beading(chaining?) but that is verrrry pretty!
That is cool looking. I love the bracelet.
I think both look great! I do not have the fine motor skills to work on such small detail work!
Wow - very pretty. Looks like it's time consuming but the end result is worth it.
