These are fun to make little tiles. You'll need some interesting supplies to do this. Cultured marble tile, staz-on, stamps, adhesive felt and spray sealer to water proof them. I don't reccomend using regular ink. The spray sealer will make the ink run if it isn't the right kind.
Make sure you clean the tiles before starting. They have to be dust free, clean and dry. Stamp with staz-on. Be sure you like where the image is before you press it on. You can't clean it off. :) Once you have them stamped they have to dry for a while to be sure they won't bleed in the sealing process. I coat mine 2 to 3 times with sealer. Let it dry between coats. Wrap with ribbon, place in a basket with other items for a great house warming gift. Hope you dig it. Just keep in mind the chips and imperfections are part of the fun. This isn't a good craft is you're obsessed with perfection. :D LOL!

These are very pretty. Great job.
Those are awesome! What a great wedding/housewarming gift! Wonderful job and thanks for the idea! This will be perfect for my scrappy friend who is getting married soon - I'm stumped on a gift for them! Thanks again!
These are very pretty :-)
btw--thanks for the post on my blog. I had to come and check yours out as well. You have officially made me hungry. Love those snicker filled peanut butter cookies.
Yup.. I dig these!! I love them!!!
Can I ask where you bought the tiles?? I LOVE LOVE the imperfection in them!!! such character!!
Oh I'm a Lowes girl. They are sold 9 (I think?) in a box. To help on the hunt: The box is white cardboard with a hole cutout in the front.
:) You can do this on smooth "cured" tile with stazon but I think it looks cheesy. Just me. I like the nicks and imperfections. Have fun! It's addicting!!
These are great! Nice job:)
those look so pretty, and would make a great hostess gift!
I know what someone (me) is making for Christmas presents!
These are fabulous!
these would make an awesome gift!! they are beautiful.
Love these! Such an awesome idea. Thanks for sharing!
Hey, L! If you don't spray the tile, it will absorb the condensation from cold drinks. We southern girls know what humidity will do with a glass of tea!
This is my first comment on your blog - I know I'll be back. You have awesome ideas!
Thanks Tammy from 2peas! I had no idea that you didn't have to seal them. I just made the assumtpion that the ink would run. It is staz-on...I guess I just didn't trust it. I am going to try it that way! :) Thanks!
These are so cool! I just made some for a friends birthday and she loved them! (So thanks from Amanda AND me!)
