Family Fun with Words

Another simple and fun project. I used paintshop to make the "art". I used one font for the word family and another font for the rest of the words. I used 5 different shades of brown. It is printed on plain white cardstock.

The frame came from Big Lots. They had it on 75% off. I paid $5 for it. Whenever there is a sale like that I try to pick up a few frames, so I usually have a few extras on hand. This one has been sitting in a box for about 6 months waiting to be used. I think it's perfect for this project.

If you do one like this try turing some words sideways and making them different sizes and colors. It makes it interesting and fun. I'm working on two now for a friend who has twins. Each girl will get her name with a bunch of words that discribe her around it. I think it would make a lovely gift too. Let me know what you think.   : )

What a great gift! It looks simple enough for me to actually try it. You can't beat the price, either.

I just found this and I love it. But, I didn't bookmark it...and then a week later I wanted to find it and it took an hour of online searching, but I found it again. I'm doing this for each of my SIL's and mounting them to tiles to make trivets. This was a fabulous idea, thanks for posting it!! :)
