You know those organza bags that you see for favors or gifts? Those things are so cute but I think we need to pretty them up a little. :)
You'll need:
Organza Bags (light colored)
Staz-On
Stamp you like (or you made)
Scrap paper (or envelope) cut to fit inside the bag
Now it's so easy you don't need directions. Put the paper inside, stamp using Staz-On on the bag, let dry and fill the bag. These are so cute for birdseed, candy, little gifts and so on. If you're using them for a wedding they would be very cute with a monogram on them. They come in a ton of colors and can be found just about anywhere. Do you like this idea?

I like all the ideas on your blog. i am featuring your diaper wreath at somedaycrafts.blogspot.com in a couple of days. grab my "featured" button.
I will have to try this...thanks for the tip!
I love the idea. I just ordered 110 bags for an upcoming wedding. My question tho, because I've never stamped before, is: is there a white ink? Half of the bags are in black organza. The other half are red. Thanks
There is a white Staz-On that you could use on colored bags. I believe you can get it at Micheals or through Stampin' Up. Regular ink won't work, it needs to be Staz-On.
These are so cute! I love using organza gift baggies, they're always so pretty.
So this staz-on ink...it's basically just a normal ink pad, but the ink is specifically made for sticking to (and not rubbing off of) plastic and glass and other things not made of paper?
I love this idea. I was looking for a way to personalize my organza bags and came across your blog. Does the ink smear? How long did you let the ink dry. I am waiting for my bags to come in before I can try this.
