Snicker filled peanut butter cookies

These are yummie peanut butter cookies filled with Snickers. I know, it's so fattening it's painful. :) LOL

You can use any kind of peanut butter cookies you like. We made a basic recipe but if you have a favorite family recipe, or a great one from online you an use that too. Simply make the dough. Let it sit up in the fridge for 2 hours or so. Take about a tablespoon amount in your hand roll into a ball and flatten. Put a mini snicker on the middle. Take another tablespoon amount in your hand and form a ball over the top of the snicker. Roll in your hands until it's one ball and you cannot see the snicker. Do this for all the cookies. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or however long your recipe says to cook the cookie dough.

I think these are best soft, so I wouldn't bake them the full amount. I shave about 5 minutes off the cook time. :) Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with melted chocolate. Serve warm. I bet this will work with other candy bars too. Just be sure to cut them into small portions that will fit easily in the cookie. My family adores Snickers, so that was our first choice. Happy baking!

Yum! The same concept works really well with mini peppermint patties and sugar cookies!

These look amazing! Your pictures are really great--adds to the temptation to drag my three kids out to the grocery store now to get supplies! (So what if one is already in bed....right? LOL!)
