Coupon Organizer

So it's 2009 and I have some goals. One of them is to start using coupons. Everyone can use to save a few bucks right? More money for craft supplies. lol. So, this is a file folder, folded and covered in pretty paper (scraps). The ribbon is from SU! I printed the shopping list, notes and to do list on my computer using MS Word.

I left the cover kind of plain because I like the pattern so much. Click the pictures to see larger. As if you didn't know by now.  :)

I have a couple questions for you all:
What are our goals for 2009?
What would you like to see in the giveaway this month?
I am doing 2 pendants but have no idea what else to include!!

The instructions for folding are located here. Thanks for visiting!

By far the prettiest coupon organizer I've seen! Great start to the new year - both the project & money saving. :)

Wow! Way prettier than the ratty envelope I keep my coupons in. ;)

wow that is so cool! you did a great job :)

maybe for your giveaway it would be a cool idea to include a little kit so people can make their own pendants too :)

That is just too cute to go to the grocery store.

The kit is a cool idea! I didn't think of that. Il have to see if I find a bottle of diamond glaze locally. I've been ordering mine online and I don't have a spare bottle. If I can find one then I'm using that idea!

Like how this has the different catagory sections. I've been buying much more "store brand" and don't use coupons as often, except for those Puffs & TP! My goal is to learn how to use the sewing machine I inherited a few months ago.

OMG...need instructions for that! It's great!

Wow - I really like your binder, very pretty!

If it were me... I'd give one of these away :)

my crafting goals are to use the stash I have MORE and buy new things LESS and try new techniques. You could make one coupon organizer to give away.. it's a great idea and you made it very pretty :) My poor coupons are in an old zippy bag :( They are probably green from envy..hehe

This is a really good idea. We have been using coupons more lately and something like this would be a perfect holder for them. It looks great! TYFS!

This is a great idea. My wallet is overloaded with so many receipts and coupons! I just found your blog having seen a reply you made on SCS about being happy for people to be inspired to copy your stuff! I so agree - I love to see and share ideas and yours are the best. I'm going to put a link to you on my blog. OK enough already or I will use your whole comments field!!! LOL

What an awesome idea and so beautifully done! I need to make one of these and keep myself a little more organized. Right now I am hopeless in the organization department and I can never find a thing. Or I will make a grocery list and then forget to take it to the store with me :)

I love this - do you have directions somewhere? I'm sort of challenged with these things sometimes! ;O)

What a great project! That is one great coupon organizer.

Goal? Improve my sewing skills, get cards in the mail on time and stay organized.

Cool!

Sometimes I think other people's blogs exist just to remind me that I have absolutely no craftiness in me at all!

Oh, wait - I have made a lightbox!

What a great organiser Elizabeth. We don't get coupons like you over there - sob!

My crafting goals? Don't buy any more stash til I use more of the huge pile I have and to try to keep my space tidier!!

What an incredibly great idea. The other shoppers are going to be jealous when they see you with that at the grocery store. I like the pattern on the cover too and I think it looks great without additional embellishment.

What a pretty organizer! I like the front too, I can see why you'd keep it that way. I'm horrible for using coupons. If I remember to bring them, then I forget to use them!

This is wonderful!! So great!!

Super pretty! I'd probably use coupons too if I had something this chic to carry them around in!

Oh very nice, love the colours! I look forward to a tutorial? ;D

Very pretty! I have started using coupons again. Many places around here double them, so you can save quite a bit.

That's pretty damn cute right there.

My goals?
1) organize this house
2) be a miser so we can end up buying a house
3) start an etsy shop
4) grow tomatoes and herbs
5) learn needle felting
6) not send anything nasty in the mail to the owner of our townhouse
7) And, of course, the ever popular, lose some weight.
