Kid's Scratch Off Cupcake Game

My little girl's cupcake birthday party is coming up and we have been trying different things that my little girl thinks would be fun. We saw this really cool tutorial: How to make a scratch off lottery ticket at ArtMind. We wanted to give it a try!
I made a tic-tac-toe with two different cupcakes using Paintshop and printed them on plain printer cardstock. The game says "Scratch off 3, if you get a tic-tac-toe you win!" Obviously I didn't win and kept scratching my test run. You can paint on the clear shelf liner and cut it out for a cleaner scratch area but these were a first try and they are for kids 6-8. I don't think they are going to care if my paint lines aren't straight. lol!

If you want to give this a try head over to ArtMind and she will show you how.  : )    What games do your kids enjoy at birthday parties? For my daughter's party the kids are all going to decorate their own cupcakes. Any other game suggestions?

OMW this is amazing! I want to come to the party! :) My 7 year old liked it when we made our own lip glosses. She also liked stringing her own bracelets.

Oh wow I didn't think it would be so easy to make scratch offs. Thank you so much for sharing! What a great idea for a bday party or family gathering.

How fun! My kids are older, but I remember the blind fold guess the object game. Just the guesser was blind folded and the kids loved it. It was like they were in on a secret.

I love those! I've been making some for my next craft fair/convention thing I'm doing and including them with purchases.

Games... my kids really like to play board/card games and we tend to buy a new one for birthdays. They also really like hitting pinatas until candy falls out
